The Genesis
Pasture was born from personal frustration and a desire to do things differently. For as long as I can remember, I have struggled with extremely sensitive skin. Countless products promised results, yet most left my skin greasy, irritated, inflamed, or covered in rashes. Nothing truly worked. For years, I avoided skincare altogether, choosing to wash only with water and never moisturise.
Meanwhile, I watched family members, friends, and my partner spend hundreds, sometimes thousands, on premium skincare. Their routines were crowded with products, yet they never found the right one. They changed brands constantly because their skin never quite looked or felt genuinely healthy. These conventional products would offer a brief improvement, but the moment they stopped using them, their skin reverted right back to its original state.
The Industrial Cycle
It made me question why. After researching the industry, the answer became clear. Many large corporate brands pack their products with water, chemical emulsifiers, and synthetic fillers. These formulas are designed to feel pleasant on the surface while you are applying them, but they rarely solve the root issue.
When you stop using them, your skin barrier is left dependent and depleted, forcing you back into the loop of buying more. I wanted to break that cycle. I wanted to create something honest, grounded, and lasting.
Discovering Tallow
That search led me to natural, nutrient-dense ingredients completely free from synthetics. One ingredient stood out above all the rest: beef tallow. Because it closely matches the natural oils your skin produces, your body recognises it instantly. It absorbs beautifully without leaving a heavy or sticky residue, working in total harmony with your skin.

Instead, it acts as an overnight treatment, leaving your skin feeling fresh, soft, and balanced for the following morning.
